Way of Love - Our way of life
In the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement, we follow the way of Jesus. His way is the Way of Love, and that love has the power to change lives and change the world. Our ministries are centered in Jesus' loving, liberating, and lifegiving way in the world.
Have you ever wondered how you, personally, can follow in the way of Jesus?
What does a life in Christ look like?
How do we go about living out our faith, not only on Sunday morning, but every day?
The Way of Love is a way to live out your faith following seven principles: TURN, LEARN, PRAY, WORSHIP, GO, BLESS and REST.
TURN: Like a flower that turns to face the morning sun, we turn our attention to Jesus and seek to live the life he calls us to.
LEARN: Every day we seek to grow in the knowledge and love of Christ.
PRAY: Prayer opens our minds and hearts as it helps us connect more deeply with Jesus.
WORSHIP: St. Paul's offers services on Sunday at 10:15am and Wednesday at 9am. Worship brings us together to offer prayers, join in beautiful music, hear a dynamic message, receive the bread and wine made holy, and send us out into the world refreshed and ready to serve in the name of Christ. Come, get inspired!
GO: We express our faith in many ways. Using the hands, feet, voice and heart that God gives us, we put our faith in action and serve as Jesus served.
BLESS: Every time we share the blessings we've received we pass on the blessing to others. We connect with the holiness of Jesus and look for ways to be a blessing in his name.
REST: It is vital that we take time to rest and become refreshed so that we can continue the important work we're called to. In times of rest we are more likely to recognize the beauty of Creation and the inspiration that's all around us. Rest is a holy task that has an important place as we seek to live a balanced and holy lives.
